This policy explains how MacroTech Softwares handles data in the Staff Ease app.

Data We Collect

• Employee names and ID details (entered by administrators)
• Face biometric embeddings (for attendance verification only)
• Attendance records — timestamps and location
• Camera access — used only during face scan check-in/out
• Location — used only to verify attendance at your premises

How We Use It

Data is used exclusively to run app features: recording attendance, verifying identity, and generating reports. Nothing else.

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, share, or disclose any data to third parties. No advertising. No analytics services. No exceptions.

Biometric Data

Face embeddings are stored securely within your organization's account. Raw images are never stored. Biometric data is never used for tracking or profiling and is never shared outside the app.

Security

All data is stored using industry-standard security practices and is only accessible to authorized administrators.

Data Deletion

Administrators can delete any employee record and associated biometric data at any time from within the app.

Children

Staff Ease is a workplace app and is not intended for anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Policy Updates

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
